Mechanic

Quality Mechanical Services is seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our dynamic team in Des Moines Iowa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair, a commitment to quality, a passion for solving complex mechanical problems and a willingness to learn about a diverse range of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of mechanical equipment and systems. Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure machinery operates at optimal performance. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions. Utilize diagnostic tools and software to assess and address mechanical problems. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Provide exceptional customer service, communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or technical training in mechanics is preferred. Proven experience as a mechanic. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
