Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, diagnostics, and maintenance, with experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models, including all vehicles and diesel engines. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where technical expertise and customer service excellence are highly valued. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components, including powertrain, transmissions, and diesel engines. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute repairs efficiently and safely. Perform wheel alignments and ADAS calibrations to ensure vehicle safety and performance standards are met. Inspect vehicles thoroughly to determine necessary repairs or replacements, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications. Maintain detailed service records and document repair procedures for each vehicle serviced. Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs, estimated timelines, and maintenance recommendations. Stay updated on the latest automotive repair techniques, electrical systems, and industry best practices. Experience Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Familiarity with schematics, automotive electrical systems, and service estimation is preferred. Experience working on all vehicles or diesel engine repair is a plus. Knowledge of automotive maintenance procedures including wheel alignments, transmissions, powertrain systems, and welding. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills. Prior experience in auto estimating or working with automotive service management software is advantageous. This position requires a dedicated professional with mechanical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship. Candidates should possess relevant technical skills along with a passion for automotive repair and customer satisfaction.

$25.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 - 65 per week
