Duties Conduct thorough inspections of used vehicles to identify mechanical issues and safety concerns Perform repairs including engine diagnostics, brake replacements, suspension work, and electrical system troubleshooting Maintain detailed records of all repairs, parts used, and services performed for each vehicle Test drive vehicles after repairs to ensure quality and proper functioning Collaborate with team members to prioritize repairs and manage workflow efficiently Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, timelines, and maintenance advice Experience Proven experience as a mechanic specializing in used or pre-owned vehicles Strong knowledge of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical components, and diagnostics tools Ability to read technical manuals and interpret diagnostic codes accurately Certification from an accredited automotive technical school or equivalent experience preferred Familiarity with modern diagnostic equipment and repair software is advantageous Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality workmanship Join us to make a difference in the automotive world!
