Looking for Lube Techs and Entry Level Technicians - Dowdys Automotive

Hello there! My name is Tyler Seely and I am the Vice President of Dowdy's Automotive. We are currently seeking an Entry-Level Automotive Technician / Lube Technician to join our team at one of our downtown Boise locations. This position is ideal for someone looking to get started in the automotive industry or grow their technical skills in a professional shop environment. Those with current and/or recent experience in the automotive service and repair field will take priority in the hiring process. Responsibilities Perform oil changes, fluid services, and basic maintenance Rotate tires and check tire pressure as necessary Conduct basic vehicle inspections Assist senior technicians as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow safety procedures and shop standards Provide dependable, quality work for our customers Qualifications Interest in automotive repair and maintenance Basic mechanical knowledge (professional experience preferred but not required) Willingness to learn and follow instructions Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Valid driver's license and clean driving record Must have tools and tool storage to work as full-time Lube Tech/Automotive Tech Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet Must be willing to work outdoors as necessary Must be willing to take and pass a drug test as necessary
