Mechanic

Job Description:

Inspect, diagnose, and repair potato piler equipment, electrical systems, and other components. Perform preventative maintenance and inspections. Keep the shop clean, organized, and free of hazards. Site work at potato cellars to keep equipment operating. Maintain and repair small tractors. Help relocate pilers between cellars.

Job Requirements:

1+ years of experience in diesel mechanics or working with heavy-duty trucks preferred (but willing to train the right candidate). Basic mechanical knowledge and use of hand/power tools. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions. CDL (Commercial Driver's License) is a plus but not required. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
