Customer Service Representative, Combination Store / Non-CDL Backup Delivery Driver

at Norco, Inc. in Mountain Home, Idaho, United States Job Description Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Combination Store Customer Service Representative position. The Combination Store Customer Service Representative is responsible for serving walk-in customers and phone-in customers. Additionally, this position is a backup delivery driver requiring on-call rotation. The Delivery Driver is responsible for the delivery, set-up and pick up of DME equipment, supplemental oxygen products and supplies to home care patients within a prescribed and assigned geographical area. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Greet customers in a professional and enthusiastic way Answer telephone calls promptly Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of products, placement, availability, price and use Sell welding and safety products and services to customer Fit and sell medical products and services to customers Continue education on industry billing criteria as it relates to specific customer insurance requirements Initiate and complete new patient referral information files and assist in setting up new accounts where applicable Issue product sales quotes to customers Track customer's order in the computer and be able to interpret where order is in the delivery process Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary Perform back up driver duties as needed On-call rotation Deliver durable medical equipment and other home care related equipment to specific points of delivery Protect patient PHI per HIPAA regulations Provide patient/client orientation, instructing on the proper use of equipment, when applicable Demonstrate timeliness, courtesy, sincerity and patience when dealing with customers Warehouse, equipment cleaning duties Wage $21.50/Hr Qualifications Excellent customer service skills Good organization skills Medical home-care experience is a plus Valid driver's license No at fault accidents in the past 3 years Company Description Founded in 1948, Norco is headquartered in Boise, Idaho and has more than 70 branches in Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Nevada, Washington, Utah and Wyoming.
