Job Overview Mentor Motors is here to win and we want you on our team! We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional vehicle maintenance and repair services. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide of vehicles mainly focused on import brands, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise in automotive systems, mechanical knowledge, and hands-on skills will drive the success of our service department. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated technicians eager to work with import vehicle models and cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced environment.

!! Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, performance engines, and other mechanical systems with precision and efficiency. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive service tools to execute repairs and maintenance tasks. Execute vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, brake repairs, engine rebuilds, and suspension work to ensure safety and reliability. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex electrical or mechanical problems effectively. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, offering recommendations, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the service process. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures. Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and Skilled in using diagnostic software, schematics reading, and auto estimating tools for accurate assessments. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive maintenance devices. Familiarity with Subaru's vehicles or similar makes is preferred; experience with vehicle alignment and ADAS calibration is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude combined with excellent problem-solving skills to handle complex repairs efficiently. Exceptional customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about their vehicle needs.
