SERVICE TECHNICIAN

People who show up on time, take pride in doing things right, and actually want to build careers, not just clock in. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair vehicles across all makes and models using OBD-II scanners, Alldata, and diagnostic software Handle repairs in your specialty areas: brakes, suspension, alignment, electrical systems, HVAC, drivetrain (scope depends on your level) Replace major components with precision and attention to detail Use Shopmonkey (our shop management software) to log work and track jobs—this is required Communicate clearly with service writers and customers about findings and recommendations Follow OSHA and EPA safety rules without exception Keep your work area clean and organized to shop standards Work independently on assigned jobs with minimal supervision (level-dependent) Three Levels. Pick Your Start. LEVEL C•Entry to Intermediate (0-12 months in role) Oil changes, fluid services, tire rotation, basic maintenance Brake, battery, starter, alternator work Follow technical guidelines; learn from senior techs
Requirements:
1-2 years automotive experience preferred (strong mechanical aptitude works); High school diploma/GED; Valid driver's license; Willing to pursue ASE within year 1
Pay:
$25-30/hr LEVEL B•Intermediate (12-24 months as C tech + manager recommendation) Full brake jobs, steering/suspension, cooling system, exhaust repairs Pre-purchase inspections; diagnostics on common issues Mentor C technicians; flag concerns to A tech rather than guess
Requirements:
2-4 years hands-on repair experience; Minimum 1 current ASE cert (or willing to obtain); Proficiency with Shopmonkey preferred; Valid driver's license
Pay:
$35-40/hr LEVEL A•Advanced (24+ months as B tech + manager recommendation) Advanced diagnostics across electrical, HVAC, drivetrain, engine systems Complex repairs; work completely independently with full decision authority Mentor junior/mid-level technicians; QC reviews; communicate technical issues clearly
Requirements:
3+ years hands-on diagnostic experience; 2+ current ASE certs (or equivalent mastery); OBD-II, Alldata, diagnostic software proficiency; Valid driver's license
Pay:
