Job Description
Automotive Service & Repair Technician:
Dixon, Illinois Our customer in Dixon, Illinois, is looking for a hardworking, detail ‑ oriented individual to join their team as an Automotive Service & Repair Technician to work full ‑ time on 1st shift. In this role, you will support installation, troubleshooting, and repair of truck and road equipment while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Responsibilities of theAutomotive Service & Repair Technician:
Troubleshoot and repair road and truck equipment. Install and connect truck packages using hand and power tools. Rebuild components and fabricate parts as needed to complete installations. Read and follow work instructions to install and connect parts. Inspect work to ensure quality and proper installation. Operate tools and equipment used in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical assembly. Use measuring tools, testing equipment, and technology to document completed work. Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety procedures. Communicate with supervisors regarding parts, inventory, and job progress. Assist team members and support overall production goals.Automotive Service & Repair Technician Requirements and Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Experience with automotive, hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical repair preferred. Vocational training in automotive or industrial mechanics preferred. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment. Basic welding and fabrication knowledge preferred. Ability to read and follow instructions and technical documents. Strong problem ‑ solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work. Pay forAutomotive Service & Repair Technician:
Starting$23/hour.Automotive Service & Repair Technician Benefits:
