In this role, you will perform essential vehicle repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal safety, performance, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help keep vehicles running smoothly and efficiently, providing a positive experience for every customer. This is an exciting opportunity for technicians passionate about automotive repair and eager to grow their skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Duties Diagnose and repair tire issues, including mounting, balancing, and replacing tires to ensure safety and performance. Perform wheel alignments using advanced alignment equipment to optimize vehicle handling and tire longevity. Conduct brake inspections, replacements, and repairs to maintain vehicle safety standards. Service suspension components such as shocks and struts to improve ride quality and stability. Utilize schematics, automotive electrical systems, and diagnostic tools to identify underlying issues accurately. Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, fluid checks, and powertrain inspections. Repair or replace mechanical components such as transmissions, axles, and drive belts using hand tools and power tools. Work with diesel engines, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brake systems, and other specialized automotive systems as needed. Follow manufacturer guidelines for vehicle maintenance on various makes including GM vehicles when applicable. Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with customers about repairs needed or completed. Skills Proven dealership experience or equivalent automotive repair background with a focus on tires, alignments, and brakes. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including powertrain, suspension, steering, electrical systems, and auto body repair. Proficiency with automotive diagnostics tools and schematics for accurate troubleshooting. Experience working with ADAS technology, air brake systems, welding techniques, and diesel engine repairs is highly desirable. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics to perform precise repairs efficiently. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive maintenance tools. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Knowledge of auto estimating processes for parts ordering and repair planning is a plus.
