In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and service pre-owned vehicles to ensure they meet safety standards and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help keep our inventory in top condition and our customers confident in their vehicle choices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of makes and models while honing your skills in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Duties Perform comprehensive inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, and body-related issues on used vehicles Conduct repairs including engine work, brake replacements, suspension adjustments, and fluid changes Diagnose problems accurately using diagnostic tools and technical manuals Maintain detailed records of all repairs performed for each vehicle Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards Collaborate with team members to prioritize repairs and manage workflow efficiently Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, timelines, and costs when applicable Requirements Proven experience as a mechanic specializing in used or pre-owned vehicles Strong knowledge of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components Ability to use diagnostic tools and hand/power tools effectively Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Valid automotive technician certification or equivalent experience preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy environment Strong commitment to safety protocols and quality workmanship This role is perfect for motivated automotive professionals eager to make an impact by ensuring every used vehicle is road-ready.
