Job Summary Join our dynamic automotive team as an Automotive Technician - A, where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle repair and maintenance. In this role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a wide range of vehicles with precision and efficiency. Your mechanical skills and knowledge of automotive electrical systems will ensure our customers receive top-tier service, keeping their vehicles running smoothly and safely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced diagnostics and cutting-edge automotive technology in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on various vehicle systems using schematics, automotive diagnostics tools, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) technology to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and other mechanical systems to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service equipment to execute repairs efficiently and safely. Execute wheel alignments and suspension adjustments to manufacturer specifications for enhanced vehicle handling and safety. Interpret schematics and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems effectively. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and offering professional auto estimating advice. Maintain detailed service records, complete all necessary documentation promptly, and ensure quality standards are met throughout every repair process. Requirements Proven dealership experience or extensive service technician background with a focus on automotive repair. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical systems, transmissions, and diesel engines. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools, schematics interpretation, ADAS calibration, and alignment procedures. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive maintenance tools. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands is preferred; experience with auto estimating software is a plus. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately while following safety protocols diligently.
