In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and optimal performance. Your expertise will help keep our customers' vehicles running smoothly and efficiently, fostering trust and satisfaction with every service. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and steering components. Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, wheel balancing, and suspension repairs to ensure vehicle safety and performance. Utilize hand tools and power tools proficiently for repairs such as welding, auto body work, and component replacements. Work on diesel engines and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) to enhance vehicle safety features. Follow manufacturer specifications and schematics meticulously for precise repairs on GM vehicles or other makes. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating tasks accurately, and communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines. Skills Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and electrical systems. Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems including transmissions, powertrain components, brake systems, and suspension components. Skilled in using automotive hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic software to perform repairs efficiently. Ability to read schematics accurately and troubleshoot complex automotive electrical issues. Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Familiarity with auto estimating processes and maintaining compliance with safety standards related to automotive electrical systems and vehicle maintenance.
