Role:
Join Pit Stop as a Mechanic in our dynamic team based in Elgin,IL! We are looking for a skilled professional who is passionate about vehicle maintenance and repair, eager to contribute to our commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various vehicles, ensuring optimal performance. Diagnose mechanical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner. Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems accurately. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction. Keep detailed records of repairs and services performed on vehicles. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. Provide exceptional customer service and communicate findings clearly to clients.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a mechanic with a strong understanding of automotive systems. ASE certification or equivalent is preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset. Physical stamina and dexterity to handle tools and equipment. Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends if necessary.
