Fleet Mechanic

Right Way Traffic Control, Inc., a rapidly growing construction company specializing in traffic control, signage, striping, guardrail, fence and miscellaneous steel erection, is looking to add a qualified individual to help manage our fleet of trucks and equipment.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles and equipment, ensuring optimal performance. Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used during repairs. Collaborate with shop foreman to communicate findings. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while working on vehicles and equipment. Qualifications Proven experience as a vehicle technician or similar role in the automotive/equipment industry. Someone with diesel and/or electrical experience is a plus but is not required. Strong mechanical knowledge with proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. Familiarity with diagnostic equipment is preferred but not required. Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting electrical systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
