Job DescriptionAre you a Level 1 or Level 2 technician looking for a clear path to becoming a Master Mechanic? At Berman Kia, we don't just give you a job, we invest in your career! This position balances high-volume Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) with hands-on, paid mentorship. When you aren't prepping brand-new Kias or quality pre-owned vehicles for our customers, you will be paired directly with a Journeyman Technician, earning while you learn.

Full Time; Monday-Saturday (Sundays and one weekday off)

Responsibilities:
Complete comprehensive multi-point safety and functional inspections on new Kia inventory and pre-owned vehicles.

Verify mechanical, electrical, and Kia infotainment systems work perfectly before customer delivery.

Conduct test drives to ensure proper alignment, braking, and handling.

Assist Journeyman Technicians with complex engine, transmission, and advanced electrical diagnostics.

Complete digital training modules and apply new skills under direct supervision.

Keep your dedicated bay and shared shop areas clean and organizedQualifications2 years of experience in an automotive shop or dealership environmentMust have your own toolsStrong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniquesProficient in using diagnostic tools and equipmentExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailValid driver's license and a clean driving record (3 year min) Automotive trade school degree or current ASE certifications are a major plusAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
