In this role, you'll utilize your mechanical expertise and diagnostic skills to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles. Whether working on engine systems, transmissions, or electrical components, your hands-on approach will ensure our customers' vehicles operate safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems, including powertrain, electrical systems, transmissions, and diesel engines. Conduct wheel alignments, ADAS calibrations, and suspension inspections to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot complex problems effectively. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools safely and efficiently. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction. Complete auto estimating tasks to determine repair costs accurately and efficiently manage service documentation. Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive service technician background in automotive repair. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes and models, including GM vehicles. Hands-on experience with automotive electrical systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and vehicle maintenance procedures. Familiarity with schematics interpretation, diagnostics software, and automotive electrical troubleshooting. Skilled in working with powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and performing maintenance tasks. Experience with wheel alignment procedures, vehicle service inspections, and auto estimating processes. Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
