In this energetic role, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and optimal operation. Whether working on gasoline engines, diesel powertrains, or advanced automotive electrical systems, your mechanical skills will keep our customers on the road with confidence. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately. Repair and overhaul engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and other critical vehicle components. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and fluid replacements to extend vehicle lifespan. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle parts with precision. Maintain detailed service records and communicate clearly with customers about repairs needed or completed. DOT inspections. Requirements Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. Dealership experience is highly preferred for familiarity with brand-specific systems like Ford vehicles. Knowledge of automotive diagnostics software and schematics to troubleshoot efficiently. Skilled in diesel engine repair, powertrain work, wheel alignment, suspension systems, and brake repair. Ability to work with various hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive electrical systems. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for clients. Valid ASE certification.
