Essential Functions Trailer Mechanic/Technician:
You will maintain proficiency in the diagnosis and repair of all assigned equipment. Determine trailer condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests Perform system repairs to include 2 years air brakes and FHWA inspections, technicial training, tractor helper or Reefer exp a Plus Perform all preventive maintenance inspections, state and federal mandated safety inspections and complete repairs in accordance with DOT requirements. Perform routine maintenance on trailers, refrigeration system Union Shop Shift - 2nd shift Sunday thru Thursday, 2 PM Start Friday and Saturday OFF!! Start Pay $30.75/hr!! Paid Holidays Disability Trailer Mechanic Requirements :
Must have aminimum of 3 years of related experience as a trailer Mechanic TMT software experience Preferred Must have 2 years experience required air brakes and FHWA inspections Ability to read, write and speak English Basic math skills Must have strong diagnostic skills Knowledge of hydraulics Own set of tools The ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 75 pounds Strong written and verbal communication skills Must be Computer proficiency with MS Office and TMT Able to pass pre-employment drug screen
