Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, diesel engines, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Utilize hand tools and power tools to execute repairs such as engine work, welding, wheel alignments, and suspension adjustments. Service vehicles by replacing worn parts, performing routine maintenance like oil changes, brake repairs, and fluid checks. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems efficiently. Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs and estimates while providing excellent customer service throughout the service process. Experience Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Hands-on experience working with a variety of year, makes, models or is highly desirable. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, ADAS calibration, and schematics interpretation. Skilled in diagnosing issues related to powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and vehicle maintenance. Familiarity with auto estimating software and customer service best practices. Experience performing wheel alignments, vehicle inspections, welding repairs, and using diagnostic equipment. Prior work involving service technician responsibilities in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
