Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team at Napleton's Oak Lawn Mazda. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through their automotive service needs while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. You will work closely with service technicians to align on diagnostics and repairs, providing clear communication regarding services performed and recommendations for future maintenance. Duties Prepare for day's appointments with pre-write, greet customers, and assess their service needs and perform interactive walkaround. Write detailed service orders that accurately reflect customer concerns and required services. Collaborate with service technicians to ensure proper multi-point inspection and repairs are performed. Provide estimates for services, including tire service, brake repair, and other automotive services. Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service history. Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns. Customer Satisfaction is key component to the performance of our Service Advisors. Stay informed about dealership promotions, new products, and industry trends to provide knowledgeable recommendations. Qualifications Proven experience in customer service, preferably in an automotive environment. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and repair processes. Strong skills in service writing and communication. Ability to work collaboratively with service technicians and other team members. Knowledge of tire service, brake repair, and general automotive maintenance is beneficial. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships with clients. Previous Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer experience, 1 year minimum Proven track record of above average Sales and CSI scores Tekion experience is a plus Join our team as an Automotive Service Advisor where your expertise will help enhance the customer experience while contributing to the success of our dealership.
