The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive diagnostics, heavy equipment operation, and mechanical repairs, with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems using schematics and technical manuals. This role is vital in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our fleet operations across various industries. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, skidsteers, dingos, commercial mowers, and other small equipment. Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and hands-on inspection. Repair or replace engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, HVAC systems, and electrical components.. Service all auto and equipment to minimize downtime. Maintain detailed service records for all repairs and maintenance performed. Proven mechanic experience with automotive repair. Dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory. Strong knowledge of engines, transmissions, hydraulics, HVAC systems, and electrical systems. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex systems. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools. Mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
