About us Koenig Body & Equipment is a small family owned business located in West Peoria, IL . Our goal is to provide high quality dump bodies, snow plows and truck equipment in the Central IL area. Located in Peoria, IL, our team is committed to delivering the highest level of service to customers through our reliable and durable equipment.. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanic(Truck Equipment Experience Preferred) at
KOENIG BODY
& EQUIPMENT, INC, located in Peoria, IL . The Mechanic (Truck Equipment Experience Preferred) will be responsible for the up fitting, maintenance and repair of heavy equipment, performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure equipment is working efficiently and effectively. Applicant must have a fully stocked rolling toolbox!! You will work in a year round climate controlled shop (heat/central air). There is a newly remodeled locker room. Pay is based on verifiable experience. Applicants with high quality experience in truck equipment will be paid top dollar!!
THIS POSITION REQUIRES EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE IN HYDRAULICS, ELECTRICAL, WELDING, & BASIC MECHANICAL KNOWLEDGE.
Qualifications Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Maintenance & Repair skills Experience with heavy equipment Troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to follow safety protocols Valid driver's license Truck Equipment Experience
