Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Used Car Reconditioning Technician to join our dynamic automotive team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing used vehicles for sale by performing comprehensive reconditioning, repairs, and quality inspections. Your expertise will ensure each vehicle meets our high standards for safety, appearance, and performance, providing customers with reliable and visually appealing vehicles. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of makes and models, utilizing your technical skills to deliver exceptional results. Responsibilities Perform thorough inspections of used vehicles to identify necessary repairs and reconditioning needs Conduct mechanical repairs including engine diagnostics, diesel engine repair, and powertrain servicing Utilize schematics and automotive electrical systems knowledge to troubleshoot complex issues Repair or replace vehicle components such as brakes, suspension, steering, and alignment systems Execute auto body repairs, welding, and cosmetic touch-ups to restore vehicle appearance Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform repairs efficiently and accurately Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications while maintaining high-quality workmanship Qualifications Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience in automotive repair environments Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics, and electrical systems Experience with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration and maintenance is a plus Skilled in diesel engine repair, vehicle maintenance, and powertrain servicing Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands is advantageous Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machinery Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with a customer-focused attitude Prior experience working on auto body repair or auto service is preferred Join our team to be part of a fast-paced environment where your skills make a direct impact! Pay:
