Technicians at our full-service auto repair shop work stable hours, without the pressure to rush or meet aggressive billing quotas when the bays are empty. Responsibilities When diagnosing vehicles, automotive technicians will perform digital inspections, identify immediate and deferred repair needs, and analyze engine performance and vehicle electrical systems using scope and scan tests. Perform basic brake service, timing belt replacement, wheel alignment, suspension, and steering system repair Conduct air conditioning service and general auto maintenance for domestic and Asian vehicles Drive passenger cars or company vehicles through Carmel's roads and around the state to replicate vehicle concerns and verify repairs Maintain a clean and organized workspace and dispose of oil and other fluids according to Indiana's regulations Assist the service advisors and the shop manager to communicate vehicle-related issues clearly and transparently to the car owner What We Seek At least three years of experience working in a fast-paced full-service auto shop Comprehensive understanding of vehicle electrical systems and the ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams Familiarity with multimeter and oscilloscope use and the ability to troubleshoot malfunctions Knowledge of the latest diagnostic scanners ASE certified (A1-A8) is a definite advantage, as we provide ASE test vouchers and cover the renewal costs Bring your basic tools to the job, including sets of wrenches and screwdrivers, in good working condition Valid Indiana driver's license and a clean driving record Joining Process If you think you fit in with our team's culture and have the skill set to handle all kinds of passenger cars, we invite you to apply for the position by submitting your resume to this ad.
