Job Description

We are looking to hire an automotive technicians (A level).
Job Description:
Technician must possess the ability to inspect a range of vehicles and perform routine maintenance and safety checks. They must be able to analyze, diagnose and repair vehicles up to a 2024, maintaining accurate records of inspection results and services performed. In addition to tangible skills, they must demonstrate a team-centered approach, positive communication skills, and a strong work ethic.
Income range:
$15 to $40 per hour, depending on experience & certifications (CDL, AWS, ASE, CMI, CMM,...). Additional compensation includes optional overtime, 2 weeks of paid shut-down, vacations, holidays, and bonuses.
Responsibilities:
  • Utilize shop diagnostic equipment to evaluate mechanical issues
  • Perform maintenance & repair on heavy & light duty gasoline & diesel engines & related mechanical, hydraulic & electrical systems
  • Follow safety procedures & maintain safe operating conditions at all times to avoid accidents, injuries & damage
  • Provide or be willing to acquire all necessary tools to perform basic tasks
  • Assist with maintaining safe, presentable spaces
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
Skills:
  • Valid Indiana driver's license
  • Minimum 2 years, dealership or established shop preferred
  • Proficiency with shop tools, equipment & diagnostic equipment
  • Working knowledge of the diagnosis, maintenance & repair of heavy & light duty gasoline & diesel engines & related mechanical, hydraulic & electrical systems
  • Effective written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work as a team & adapt effectively in constantly changing environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Physicality:
  • Perform task with heavy individual or team lifting
  • Bend, kneel & stand on concrete for prolonged periods of times
  • Perform work with arms raised for prolonged periods of time
  • Possess manual dexterity to perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to implement precautions for frequent exposure to exhaust fumes, gasoline, diesel fuel & other potentially or known toxic substances
