Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Recreational Vehicle (RV) Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional service to our customers. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of RV systems and components, ensuring each vehicle is safe, reliable, and ready for adventure. Your mechanical expertise and passion for vehicle maintenance will help us uphold the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on RV electrical systems, HVAC units, suspension, brakes, and other mechanical components using automotive diagnostic tools. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, and fluid checks to keep vehicles operating smoothly. Repair or replace major systems including plumbing systems, HVAC units, and auto body components with precision and care. Use hand tools and power tools to assemble parts, repair equipment, weld or solder components as needed for various repairs. Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely when handling large parts or equipment during repairs or maintenance procedures. Document all repairs thoroughly in service records and communicate effectively with customers about the work performed. Assist with vehicle inspections to identify potential issues early and recommend appropriate service solutions to enhance vehicle longevity. Skills Proven dealership experience or service technician background in RV or automotive repair environments. Electrical experience including automotive electrical systems troubleshooting and soldering skills. Expertise in vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes, tire services, suspension repairs, and brake repairs. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment and perform assembly tasks efficiently. Knowledge of HVAC systems within RVs along with plumbing repairs specific to mobile living environments. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks and working in various positions for extended periods.
