Job Description
RV Detail & Prep Technician We are looking for an RV Detail & Prep Technician to help clean, inspect, prepare, and deliver travel trailers and campers to customers. This position is a good fit for someone who likes hands-on work, takes pride in doing things correctly, and is comfortable working on different types of repairs and preparation tasks. RV experience is helpful, but we will also consider someone with experience in detailing, maintenance, construction, mobile home repair, trailer repair, plumbing, electrical, or general handyman work. Responsibilities Clean travel trailers and campers completely inside and out Prepare new and used RVs for customer delivery Inspect appliances and make sure they operate properly Dewinterize and winterize units Inspect roofs and reseal as needed Check basic RV systems before delivery Install hitches and related towing equipment Hook up and connect trailers to customer vehicles Assist with moving and organizing units on the lot Identify repair needs and report concerns to the service department Help make sure each unit is clean, working properly, and ready for the customer Preferred Skills The ideal candidate will have the ability to: Perform minor appliance repairs Handle small cosmetic repairs Complete basic plumbing, electrical, or maintenance repairs Understand how travel trailers and campers operate Explain basic unit operation to customers during orientation walkthroughs Use hand tools and power tools safely Work independently and stay organized Requirements Prior detailing, maintenance, repair, or skilled trade experience preferred RV, camper, trailer, or mobile home experience is a plus Valid driver's license Dependable transportation Ability to lift, bend, climb, kneel, and work inside and outside RVs Comfortable working in different weather conditions Good attention to detail Dependable and willing to work Schedule Full-time position. Some Saturdays may be required depending on delivery schedule. Pay Pay is based on experience and ability. Why This Job May Be a Good Fit This is not just a cleaning position.
