Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. Sign on bonus up to $5000 for qualified candidates. In this role, you will perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service experiences to our customers, utilizing your deep mechanical knowledge and technical skills. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with Ford vehicles, in a fast-paced customer-focused environment. Duties Conduct thorough diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues with engines, transmissions, electrical systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and other vehicle components. Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including engine repairs, powertrain work, wheel alignments, and diesel engine servicing. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems accurately. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs efficiently. Service vehicles by replacing parts, adjusting systems such as steering and suspension, performing wheel alignments, and ensuring proper vehicle maintenance. Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems, including sensors, wiring harnesses, and electronic modules related to ADAS features. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating procedures for repairs, and communicate clearly with customers about their vehicle's condition and recommended services. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems including powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and automotive electrical systems. Skilled in reading schematics and technical manuals for accurate troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and system calibrations. Familiarity with advanced automotive technology like ADAS calibration and GM vehicle systems is highly desirable. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools safely and effectively. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Experience with auto estimating software is a plus; willingness to learn new technologies is essential.
