Automotive Main Line Technician - Ford

Ford Lincoln of Lafayette is seeking an experienced Automotive Main Line Technician to join our growing service team.

The ideal candidate will have:

Main Line Automotive Technician Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and complex mechanical repairs on vehicles Accurately complete repair orders in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards Conduct test drives to verify repairs and ensure vehicle performance Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding diagnostics, repairs, and timelines Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Stay current with factory training and certifications to maintain technical proficiency

Main Line Automotive Technician Qualifications:

2+ years of automotive repair experience required Ford or Lincoln certification preferred (other OEM experience considered) Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret technical documents and repair manuals Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
