Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Automotive Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance services. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help customers get back on the road quickly and confidently. Whether you're experienced with dealership operations or specialized in diesel engines and ADAS systems, your mechanical knowledge will be vital to our success. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues promptly and accurately. Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems, including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, and diesel engines. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems efficiently. Service vehicles by replacing parts, performing alignments, wheel balancing, and ensuring proper vehicle maintenance procedures are followed. Repair or replace ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) components to enhance vehicle safety features. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools to complete tasks safely and effectively. Maintain detailed service records, prepare auto estimates, and communicate repair needs clearly with customers. Experience Proven dealership experience or service technician background with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes. Hands-on experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not required. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics is essential. Experience repairing transmissions, powertrains, diesel engines, and performing wheel alignments is highly desirable. Familiarity with automotive service procedures including ADAS calibration, welding techniques, and auto estimating software. Customer service skills that foster trust and satisfaction during vehicle drop-off and pick-up. Prior work involving automotive maintenance, mechanical repairs, or service technician roles is highly valued for this position. $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
