In this role, you will perform a wide range of diagnostic, repair, and maintenance tasks on various vehicle makes and models, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. Duties Conduct thorough diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues with engines, electrical systems, transmissions, powertrain components, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and other vehicle systems. Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles including engine repairs, diesel engine servicing, transmission repairs, wheel alignments, and electrical system troubleshooting. Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to accurately diagnose problems and implement effective solutions. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to execute repairs efficiently and safely. Service vehicles by replacing parts, performing oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and ensuring proper vehicle maintenance according to manufacturer specifications. Conduct inspections of automotive electrical systems, ADAS calibration, emissions testing, and vehicle safety features to ensure compliance with industry standards. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating procedures for repairs, and communicate clearly with customers about repair needs and timelines. Experience Proven automotive service center experience as a Service Technician or Mechanic. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components including transmissions and diesel engines. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics software and schematics interpretation. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not required. Demonstrated ability to perform complex mechanical repairs using hand tools and power tools efficiently. Experience working with ADAS systems calibration and alignment equipment is a plus. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
