In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle systems with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure our customers receive top-quality service, keeping their vehicles running smoothly and safely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology, including advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), diesel engines, and electrical systems, all within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems. Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and drivetrains, ensuring optimal performance. Conduct vehicle inspections and maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, and alignments. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical systems, ADAS features, and mechanical components effectively. Repair or replace diesel engines and related components with attention to detail and safety standards. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to execute repairs efficiently. Communicate clearly with customers about repair procedures, findings, and recommended services to enhance customer satisfaction. Requirements Proven dealership experience as an automotive technician or mechanic with a strong background in automotive repair. Certification as a Ford Certified Technician or equivalent manufacturer certification is required. Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics tools. Experience repairing diesel engines and working on GM vehicles is a plus. Familiarity with ADAS technology, vehicle alignment procedures, and auto body repair techniques. Mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with power tools, welding equipment, and maintenance procedures. Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately while following safety protocols diligently.
