The Position We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our professional team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of customer vehicles, from basic maintenance to complex engine and transmission work. You will play a key role in ensuring our customers' vehicles are safe and reliable. Responsibilities Accurately diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in various vehicles (foreign and domestic). Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake jobs, tune-ups, and inspections. Utilize advanced computer diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot problems effectively. Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle issues and repair recommendations. Maintain accurate records of all work performed using our shop management system. Keep a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Requirements 3 years of experience as an automotive mechanic in a dealership or independent shop setting (preferred, but willing to train the right candidate). Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and technical skills. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Own tools required (specialty tools provided). Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE Certification) are a plus. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
