Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their vehicles operate smoothly and reliably. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems, including electrical, powertrain, transmissions, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Conduct repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including engine repairs, diesel engine work, transmission servicing, wheel alignments, and electrical system troubleshooting. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to guide repairs efficiently. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools to complete tasks effectively. Service vehicles by replacing parts, performing oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and ensuring overall vehicle maintenance meets manufacturer specifications. Diagnose complex problems in automotive electrical systems and implement effective solutions while adhering to safety standards. Collaborate with team members to estimate repairs accurately using auto estimating software and communicate effectively with customers about repair needs and timelines. Skills Proven dealership or service shop experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician. Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and automotive electrical systems. Proficiency in reading schematics and understanding automotive diagnostics software. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration and alignment procedures. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools. Knowledge of GM vehicles is a plus but not required; familiarity with various makes and models is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
