Job Description
Automotive General Service Technician Auto Doctors is looking for a dependable General Service Technician to join our team. We are looking for someone who is clean, organized, helpful, and coachable. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working on vehicles, takes pride in doing things the right way, and wants to keep learning and growing in the automotive industry. At Auto Doctors, we do more than repair cars — we care for people. Our team values quality work, teamwork, clear communication, and taking care of our customers the right way. What You'll Do Perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, batteries, and other maintenance services. Help with light automotive repairs, including brakes, suspension, tires, and basic diagnostics. Complete vehicle inspections and learn how to document findings clearly and accurately. Communicate with the service advisor and team about what you see during inspections. Keep the shop, your bay, tools, and work areas clean, safe, and organized. Be helpful to the lead technicians and support the team so work can move through the shop efficiently. Follow directions, ask questions, and be willing to learn our process. Help where needed with vehicles, shop organization, inspections, and customer care. Follow Auto Doctors' standards for quality, care, and doing things the right way. What We're Looking For 1-2 years of automotive repair or maintenance experience preferred. Basic automotive knowledge and mechanical ability. Someone who is dependable, honest, and willing to be coached. A team player who wants to help the shop run smoothly. Clean and organized work habits. Good attitude and willingness to jump in where needed. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced shop environment.
