Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service, particularly with GM vehicles, and possess the ability to perform diagnostics and repairs on a variety of automotive systems. This role requires expertise in both gasoline and diesel engine repair, as well as familiarity with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). The Automotive Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service and effective communication. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, brake replacements, and tire rotations. Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment. Repair and maintain diesel engines, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Work on powertrain components, including transmissions and drivetrains, to ensure proper functionality. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to assist in the repair process. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding vehicle issues and repair options. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques to enhance skills and service quality. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience in automotive service or repair, with a focus on GM vehicles preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques. Experience with diesel engine repair is highly desirable. Familiarity with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) is a plus. Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic reports. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications are a plus. Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
