We work on vehicle lifts, tire changers, wheel balancers, air compressors, A/C service equipment, alignment equipment, fluid handling systems, and other professional shop equipment. Every day is different, and you'll work with customers throughout Kansas helping keep repair shops operating safely and efficiently. Responsibilities We are growing, and we're looking for an experienced, motivated technician to join our team. If you're tired of flat-rate pay, working weekends, or turning wrenches on the same vehicles every day, this could be the career change you've been looking for. For over 40 years, our company has been one of Kansas' leading suppliers of automotive repair equipment. We sell, install, service, and inspect professional shop equipment for independent repair shops, dealerships, municipalities, fleet operations, schools, and commercial customers throughout the region. Every day brings something different. One day you may be installing a new vehicle lift. The next, you're troubleshooting a wheel balancer, servicing a tire changer, repairing an air compressor, installing fluid delivery systems, or calibrating alignment equipment. If you enjoy solving mechanical and electrical problems while working directly with customers, you'll fit right in. What You'll Do Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain: Vehicle lifts Tire changers Wheel balancers Air compressors A/C service equipment Alignment equipment Shop fluid handling systems Other professional automotive service equipment Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues Train customers on proper equipment operation Represent Central Equipment with professionalism and outstanding customer service We're Looking For Someone Who Has Strong mechanical aptitude Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment Welding and fabrication experience is a plus Hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting experience Basic electrical knowledge (120V/240V/3-phase is a plus) Valid driver's license with a good driving record Ability to lift 75 pounds and work safely in customer shops Experience in any of these fields is valuable: Automotive technician Heavy equipment mechanic Industrial maintenance Air compressor service Forklift service Agricultural equipment HVAC service Electro-mechanical equipment Military mechanical experience If you're mechanically talented, we can teach you the equipment.
