Refrigeration Technician & Trailer Mechanic Wichita, KS | Family-Owned | 26+ Years of Stability Midwest Bulk Inc. is looking for an experienced Refrigeration Technician & Trailer Mechanic to join our growing maintenance team. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on refrigerated trailers Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair trailer electrical, air brake, suspension, lighting, and ABS systems Perform DOT inspections and ensure equipment meets safety standards Repair trailer components including doors, floors, landing gear, wheel ends, and structural components Complete service documentation and maintenance records Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Qualifications Experience repairing refrigerated trailer units required (Thermo King and Carrier units preferred) Trailer maintenance and repair experience Knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, air brake systems, and trailer components Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues Strong work ethic and attention to detail Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus but not required) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a shop environment What We Offer ✅ Competitive pay based on experience ✅ Stable, year-round work ✅ Family-owned company with over 26 years in business ✅ Modern equipment and well-maintained fleet ✅ Supportive team environment ✅ Opportunities for growth and advancement If you're looking for a long-term career with a company that values quality work and takes care of its employees, we'd love to hear from you.
