They are responsible for inspecting vehicle components for safety, replacing filters, and ensuring proper tire pressure. This role requires mechanical aptitude, physical stamina, and strong customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities Tire Services:
Install, mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires, including TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) procedures.
Oil and Fluids:
Drain engine oil, replace oil filters, and refill with new oil. Top off vital fluids, including brake, power steering, transmission, and washer fluids.
Inspections & Maintenance:
Inspect vehicles for leaks, worn parts, and safety issues. Replace air filters, cabin filters, wiper blades, and batteries.
Customer Service & Safety:
Adhere to all safety protocols, keep workspaces clean, and communicate findings to customers or service advisors.
Requirements Experience & Skills:
Previous experience in a similar role is often preferred, but on-the-job training for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude considered.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand for long periods, work in varied weather conditions, and lift objects over 50 pounds.
Tools:
Proficiency with, or willingness to learn, automotive tools and diagnostic equipment. We offer a benefits package that features:
