Company DescriptionIngram Marine Group is seeking a Mechanic to join our team in Columbus, KY. No day is the same in this role, you could be performing inspections, trouble shooting, or repairing engines on vessels, fixing hydraulic leaks, and working on various types of equipment. Job DescriptionWhat you will be doing:
Performing routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on various types of equipment on vesselsDiagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issuesMaintaining equipmentServicing main engines, gears, & generator enginesMaintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Assuring safe and efficient operations through compliance with Ingram's policies and principles, safety systems, and the company's code of ethics. Performing other duties as assigned. Managing maintenance on vessels in our HELM system
Ability to operate various hand and power tools.
Ability to work well as part of a teamControl down timeDiesel Engine Knowledge, Vessel Knowledge.80% of duties are on the waterAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.

QualificationsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
High school diploma/GED is requiredMust have valid drivers license0-2 years relative experience; marine industry experience a plusMust be able to lift 75 poundsBasic mechanical background and ability is expected.Ability to operate various hand and power tools.
