We are looking for Tire Technician who can help manage the work flow of a fast-paced shop! The Tire Technician will work directly alongside the manager of the store to ensure accuracy and timeliness of all automotive repairs. The Technician will also work with other members of the service team to assist on jobs when needed.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide accurate, high level and timely vehicle diagnosis, maintenance & repairs. Perform vehicle inspections, basic maintenance, minor repairs, and documenting repairs. Perform tire rotations and balances, tire mount and balances, and tire repairs. Perform oil changes and lubrication work. Perform brake and alignment services Communicate with supervisor when additional repairs are needed or when repairs cannot be completed in the scheduled time period. Inspect and test-drive new and used vehicles to ensure that all features function properly. Work alongside skilled technicians to learn how to perform quality vehicle service maintenance and repairs. Ensure proper repair techniques are being used. Maintain current knowledge of products and service techniques. Understand and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect service department operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA right-to-know, etc. Other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Ability to work independently and be self-motivated. Professional appearance and work ethic.. Valid driver license and a good driving record. Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc. In addition to a competitive pay, we offer: Company paid Long-Term Disability Insurance Company paid Life Insurance Dental Benefits Paid Time-Off Hours of operation:
