By joining our Engineering Support Branch as a Transportation Auto/Truck Technician I in Jefferson County, you'll have the opportunity to perform general maintenance and repairs on automotive, medium, and/or heavy equipment such as replacing batteries, head, and taillights; repairing and rotating tires, and changing filters and belts.Summary of Responsibilities:
Maintains automotive vehicles and equipment by replacing batteries and performing tune-ups. Maintains automotive vehicles and equipment replacing and adjusting head and taillights. Maintains automotive vehicles and equipment checking fluids and lubricants, changing filters and belts. Maintains automotive vehicles and equipment by changing, repairing, rotating tires, and checking tire air pressure. Ideal candidate will have experience in: Experience in the repair of automotive, equipment, and truck repair technical experience OR technical school training in automotive/truck repair or related field Obtain Class A CDL within 6 months.
