Automotive Alignment Technician

Duties Perform precise wheel alignments using state-of-the-art alignment equipment, ensuring vehicles meet manufacturer specifications. Conduct suspension, steering, and tire service repairs to optimize vehicle handling and safety. Diagnose automotive electrical systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and powertrain issues utilizing comprehensive schematics and diagnostics tools. Repair and maintain vehicle components such as shocks & struts, brakes, transmissions, and oil systems to uphold safety standards. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for repairs, adjustments, and installations across various vehicle models including GM vehicles. Interpret technical schematics and automotive electrical diagrams to troubleshoot complex systems accurately. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs while providing excellent customer service. Experience Dealership or automotive repair shop experience is highly preferred, especially with a focus on alignment and suspension work. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including powertrain, transmissions, brakes, shocks & struts, and electrical components. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and schematics interpretation. Familiarity with ADAS calibration procedures and air brake systems is a plus. Proven ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service equipment. Experience working with diesel engines or auto body repair is advantageous but not required. Excellent customer service skills coupled with auto estimating knowledge to ensure clear communication with clients about repairs needed.
