A specialized trucking and trailer maintenance operation is hiring a Senior Trailer Mechanic in Geismar, LA to inspect, repair, and rebuild fleet trailers. Duties & Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain dry van, flatbed, specialty, and fleet trailers. Repair trailer brake systems, hubs, drums, bearings, seals, suspension components, air systems, landing gear, doors, roofs, and flooring. Troubleshoot and repair 12V electrical systems, ABS systems, lighting, wiring, and related trailer components. Complete trailer rebuilds, structural repairs, minor welding, fabrication, and safety-related repairs as needed. Perform tire service, DOT inspections, work order documentation, and repair status updates. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized shop while supporting daily trailer repair priorities.
