About the Role As a Heavy Fleet Technician, you will serve as a critical component in maintaining our operational readiness by ensuring our diesel-powered assets remain reliable and efficient. You will leverage your expertise in engine diagnostics and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize the lifespan of our equipment. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules to uphold fleet integrity and performance standards. Utilize advanced diagnostic software and precision tools to identify and rectify complex mechanical failures. Perform rigorous inspections of diesel engine systems, fuel delivery, and hydraulic components to ensure peak output. Document all service activities and repair histories to maintain accurate maintenance logs and regulatory compliance. Partner with the maintenance team to troubleshoot intricate electrical and mechanical issues, fostering a collaborative problem-solving environment. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and industry regulations to maintain a secure and productive workshop. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent certification. Demonstrated professional experience in diesel engine repair and heavy equipment maintenance. Proficiency in interpreting complex technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals. Ability to pass necessary background checks and industry-standard drug screenings. Possession of a valid TWIC credential. Preferred Skills Completion of a formal vocational or technical program in diesel technology. Advanced knowledge of heavy-duty electrical systems and electronic diagnostic interfaces. Experience working with diverse light and heavy-duty diesel engine platforms.
