Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ASE Certified Mechanic to join our dynamic automotive service team. This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of vehicles, utilizing your expertise to deliver top-tier repairs and maintenance. As an ASE Certified Mechanic, you will play a vital part in ensuring customer satisfaction through precise diagnostics, efficient repairs, and exceptional service. Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills will drive the success of our service department and keep vehicles running smoothly. Duties Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, powertrains, brakes, steering, suspension, and electrical components. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and alignment machinery to execute repairs with precision and safety. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides to troubleshoot complex automotive problems efficiently. Service ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) features such as lane departure warnings and collision avoidance systems to enhance vehicle safety. Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and vehicle alignments while maintaining high standards of quality. Maintain detailed repair records, complete service reports promptly, and communicate effectively with customers about repair needs and vehicle status. Qualifications Valid ASE Certification with a focus on automotive repair Proven mechanic experience with a strong mechanical knowledge base across various vehicle makes and models. Hands-on experience working with GM vehicles or similar brands is advantageous. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics software and understanding of automotive electrical systems and schematics. Familiarity with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment procedures, and the use of specialized automotive tools. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to clearly explain technical issues to clients. Ability to work efficiently using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment in a fast-paced environment. $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
