Diesel Fleet Maintenance Mechanic Job Description We are seeking a skilled Diesel or Fleet Maintenance Mechanic or Technician to join our team. This role requires expertise in maintaining and repairing diesel trucks, focusing on electrical systems and brake mechanisms. Responsibilities Perform maintenance and repair on diesel engines and fleet trucks. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems. Conduct brake maintenance and repair. Work on hydraulic systems and trailer maintenance. Utilize welding skills for various repairs. Ensure fleet maintenance is up to standards with air brakes, pneumatic systems, and other essential components. Essential Skills At least 5 years of experience in diesel troubleshooting and repair Experience with electrical systems and brake maintenance Skill in hydraulic systems and trailer maintenance Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Livingston, LA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.25 - $36.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
