Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic automotive service team as a Certified Tech, where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle repair and maintenance. In this role, you will utilize your advanced technical skills to diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. We are looking for motivated professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering top-tier automotive care. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on various vehicle systems including electrical, powertrain, transmissions, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Conduct repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including engine repairs, diesel engine work, wheel alignments, and welding tasks. Utilize schematics and automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently. Service GM vehicles and other makes with expertise in vehicle maintenance, powertrain components, and automotive electrical systems. Use hand tools and power tools skillfully to execute repairs with precision and safety. Assist with vehicle inspections, alignments, and troubleshooting to ensure vehicles meet safety standards. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Requirements Proven dealership experience or extensive automotive service technician background. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair, diagnostics, and electrical systems. Familiarity with schematics, ADAS technology, transmissions, diesel engines, and powertrain components. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive diagnostic software. Experience working on GM vehicles is a plus; otherwise, broad experience with various makes is preferred. Demonstrated ability to perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as alignments, electrical repairs, and component replacements. Excellent customer service skills combined with auto estimating knowledge for accurate repair assessments.
