Automotive Technician
  • Part Time Summer Co-Op Placement Acton Ford
  • Acton, MA Part Time
  • Approximately 24 Hours Per Week Summer Position with Potential Fall Co-Op Opportunity Acton Ford is seeking a motivated student currently enrolled in a high school or college automotive technical program for a part-time summer technician position, with the potential to continue into a formal co-op learning placement during the fall semester.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain real-world dealership experience while continuing their automotive education in a professional, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Perform basic vehicle maintenance services Tire mounting, balancing, and rotations Oil changes and fluid services Vehicle inspections and basic shop support Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow safety procedures and dealership standards Requirements Currently enrolled in an automotive technical program at the high school or college level Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic automotive knowledge and familiarity with hand tools Work permit rules may apply depending on age and school requirements Acceptable academic performance both overall and within area of trade concentration What We Offer Paid manufacturer training opportunities through Ford Motor Company Real dealership experience alongside experienced technicians Potential co-op placement opportunity for the fall semester Tool storage cart provided Basic maintenance tool requirement list available upon request If you're looking to build your automotive career and gain hands-on experience in a dealership environment, we'd love to hear from you.
